Graduating from Sheffield Uni, Rick trained in commerce at Mars, Beecham (now Glaxo SmithKline), culminating in UK Marketing Head and Far East GM for Alberto VO5, before jumping from the client side to the agency side as Client Services Head for Colin Lloyd at KLP. Established TBDA with Richard Organ as 'the business development agency' instead of a collection of mates surnames!... to apply stats and science to the art of targeted marketing. Rick is a founder member of the DMA and joint architect of the new return-on-ideas programme to splice marketing and finance at Board level. Spare time?, kids, wife, family, golf and the DIY Forth Bridge syndrome!
Rich's irrefutable knowledge of database/direct marketing and passion is a priceless resource for any of our customers. Rich has an innate talent for taking in the wider business picture and troubleshooting at the early stages of a project. With a stats degree and an impressive CV firstly selling plastics before helping innovate Acorn Lifestyles at CACI, he jointly established TBDA with Rick Pullan in 1994. At weekends and infact anytime outside of TBDA you will mostly find Rich on the hockey pitch, not being ones to boast….we are very proud to say that Rich is one of the Womens England Hockey (Indoors) official coaches!
For over nine years Mike was a board director at McCann Erickson responsible for a portfolio of international brands. He is a professional brand marketeer and is very much a hands on creative. Leaving to explore the emerging technologies of a fledgling Internet Mike has specialised in digital media since. Mike was a founding director of Dial Media Group, a full service digital media agency and ISP.
Mike has lectured to students studying for their Advanced & Diploma CIM Certificate and in recent times has specialised in social media applications.
With over 15 years in business development and seven years with TBDA Sally and her specialist team are responsible for identifying & engaging or attracting those organisations we believe might benefit from our time honoured & proven business development marketing techniques, tools and software. When she is not glued to the telephone or surfing the net, she can be found buzzing around in her MG Midget or walking her dogs in North Cornwall.
That time of life career moment arrived when Gary, just with baby boy (congrats to wife Naomi too), was head hunted to double salary and big corporate European role at Trend Micro. Difficult to resist! Gary’s absorbed a huge amount of training and guidance over the last 4 years from the rest of the team and we in turn are grateful for his many contributions to our data interrogation and analysis techniques, our database marketing platforms and emailing solution integration and our social media marketing solution. We wish ‘good luck’ yet again, Gary is the 6th person heading up our database department to have moved on to bigger roles from our Planning Department’s expert training and empowerment programme.
Pete is our world class data cruncher. From SQL to Oracle and most in between Pete's seen it, done it and written the query. Pete's expertise has led him across the globe working for various international companies. Pete's black belt in Karate ensures his coffee is always made to perfection!
